Which standard does this site aim for?
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Each rebuild is checked with automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, a screen reader and phone-sized screens.
What is built in?
- One logical heading order per page, with header, navigation, main and footer landmarks.
- A link at the top that jumps past the menu.
- Menus that open by tap, click or keyboard and report their state to screen readers.
- A visible focus outline on links, buttons and fields.
- Labels on every form field and no time limits on filling them in.
- Colour contrast at AA, text that scales to 200%, and motion reduced for visitors who ask their device for it.
- Written descriptions on every photograph.
Do I have to use the website?
No. Everything possible here, from asking a question to booking an inspection or raising a complaint, can be done by phone at (380) 261-2333. The line takes calls at every hour of every day.
What if a photo description falls short?
Some images show basement conditions that are hard to describe completely. If a description leaves you missing something, call and we will explain what the picture shows.
How do I report a problem?
